General Khademi appointed as new IRGC chief

Brigadier General Majid Khademi has been appointed as the new head of the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), according to the Iranian news outlet Mehr news agency.

Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour, has officially appointed Brigadier Khademi to lead the IRGC Intelligence Organisation.

Khademi previously served as the head of the IRGC’s Protection and Intelligence Organisation.
