Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has criticised Israel’s actions in the war against Iran as amounting to a disregard of international and escalating tensions in the Middle East, according to a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson.

The spokesperson said the Chinese foreign minister spoke to his Egyptian and Omani counterparts on the subject.
