Marc Owen Jones, an associate professor at Northwestern University in Qatar, has said that despite Israel being the one with nuclear bombs and a policy of “nuclear ambiguity”, Iran — without a bomb — was being treated as a threat.⁠

“Israel does have the capacity to destroy Iran. Iran doesn’t have the capacity to destroy Israel in the same way,” he told Al Jazeera.
