Several countries evacuating their nationals from Iran and Israel
Several countries have begun evacuating their nationals from Iran and Israel.
- Britain said it was temporarily withdrawing family members of staff who work at the country’s embassy and consulate in Israel.
- The families of Russian diplomats left Israel as well.
- Over 770 Pakistani pilgrims and students have already returned home, as of Monday.
- Nearly 800 Chinese nationals “have been relocated from Iran to safe areas”, and some Chinese nationals have also been safely evacuated from Israel.
- Japan has started making arrangements to send a military plane to Djibouti as part of its effort to help Japanese nationals in Iran and Israel evacuate.
- Greece has repatriated 105 of its citizens and foreign nationals from Israel.
