New Shaun the Sheep set for 2026 release

Aardman and Sky have announced Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom, the third feature in the beloved stop-motion franchise, coming to UK cinemas and Sky Cinema in 2026.

In the Halloween-themed adventure, chaos erupts when the Farmer destroys the Flock’s pumpkin patch. Shaun’s wild science experiment backfires, unleashing a mysterious beast in the woods of Mossingham.

Written by Mark Burton and Giles Pilbrow, while directed by Steve Cox and Matthew Walker, the film promises spooky fun and signature Aardman comedy. It marks Shaun’s 30th anniversary since debuting in A Close Shave.

“Expect laughs, spookiness, and a wild hairy beast — all with Shaun’s trademark charm,” said Aardman’s Sarah Cox.

Live action How to Train Your Dragon wraps production

Universal has released the final trailer for How to Train Your Dragon, the live-action reimagining of DreamWorks Animation’s 2010 hit. Directed by Dean DeBlois, the film arrives in theatres June 13, 2025.

Set on the rugged isle of Berk, Hiccup (Mason Thames) befriends Toothless, a Night Fury dragon, challenging Viking traditions. With Astrid (Nico Parker) and Gobber (Nick Frost) by his side, Hiccup’s bond with Toothless holds the key to a fragile peace between Vikings and dragons.

The film promises a visually stunning.

Ricky Martin expands 2025 Australian tour

Ricky Martin has added a second show in Melbourne to his 2025 Australian tour after the first sold out. The new performance will take place on November 2nd, at Rod Laver Arena during Cup Weekend, with Rita Ora supporting.

The tour now kicks off with two shows in Melbourne before heading to Brisbane, Canberra and concluding in Sydney on November 10. Martin promises a 90-minute set featuring hits like Livin’ la Vida Loca, The Cup of Life and more all backed by a stunning stage production. “Australia holds a special place in my heart,” says Martin, excited to connect with his fans Down Under.
