LAHORE, May 8: The Islami Jamiat Talba held a demonstration in the Punjab University to condemn the killing of a Pakistani student by the German police. Holding banners and placards, the students chanted slogans against the German government and demanded the arrest of police officials responsible for his ‘murder.’ They urged the government to sever diplomatic ties with Germany.

Later, they dispersed peacefully.
