RAWALPINDI, May 6: Three robberies were committed in different parts of Rawalpindi on Saturday, police said. Faisal Saleem told Cantt police that he was on his way to home after getting Saudi riyals exchanged for Rs600,000 from a money changer in The Mall plaza when two motorbike riders intercepted him and snatched the cash bag at gunpoint.

Sultan Mehmood lodged a similar report with the City police saying that two motorbike riders blocked his way and snatched Rs2,100 from him at gunpoint.

In third incident, two robbers snatched Rs11,000 from Zameer Ahmed at gunpoint in Nia Mohallah City police area.
