Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar received a phone call from the foreign minister of Algeria, Ahmed Attaf, wherein the latter welcomed the India-Pakistan ceasefire and appreciated Islamabad’s commitment to regional peace and stability.

“As non permanent members of the UN Security Council, both leaders agreed to maintain close coordination at multilateral fora, to achieve common objectives,” the Foreign Office said.
