Pakistan’s former ambassador to the United States Husain Haqqani has said that “we might see de-escalation” between Pakistan and India.

“India and Pakistan both seem prepared to hold back the drones and missiles for the time being and work the phones. If that holds, we might see de-escalation though both sides will declare victory,” he said in a post on X.
