Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said the response of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) to Indian aggression will be embedded in history.

“In reply to India’s cowardly act on May 7, the response of army forces and Pakistan Air Force will be written in history,” he said while speaking to a private channel, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.

The minister said the international media has acknowledged and termed it the longest air battle in modern warfare that lasted for one hour in which five Indian aircraft were shot down including Rafale jets that India boasted with pride.

He credited the pilots and the preparedness of the air forces as well as the defence mechanism.

“India is humiliated as it claimed that Pakistan was no match in conventional warfare, but the actions of our air force prove that India is no match in conventional air warfare,” he said.

The minister added that the Indian media was deluded and had not even acknowledged that their aircraft were shot down even though there was enough evidence.

“India is now sending drones after being humiliated,” he said.
