Senator Sherry Rehman rejected Indian claims of Pakistan training and funding terrorist groups, urging for a neutral, joint investigation.

“You know, if you’re accusing Pakistan of financing and fostering terrorism. I mean how do you respond to that?” she rhetorically asked. “If you say, all right, lets look at it jointly, lets look at some protocols, lets have a third party or a neutral entity look at it.”

“Or in Kashmir, where there’s a violent settler colonialism going on at play,” she said.

“India has kicked aside all offers of a neutral investigation, of any transparency. They don’t have a shred of evidence, they are unable to even name who they accuse as links to Pakistan,” she added.
