Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar briefed the UK Secretary of State David Lammy on the regional situation due to “India’s illegal and unprovoked attacks on multiple cities across Pakistan”, according to a statement by the Foreign Office.

Lammy has expressed “deep concern” and offered condolences on the “tragic loss of civilian lives”. “He underscored the need for both sides to exercise restraint and de-escalate,” the FO added.
