JUI-F’s Fazl condemns Indian ‘aggression’, praises Pakistan armed forces

Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has condemned India’s “aggression” amid the escalating tensions between the two neighbouring countries.

“India attacked mosques, seminaries and civilian areas. Our brothers and sisters were martyred, but Pakistan’s security forces bravely defended us,” he said while speaking in the National Assembly, paying tribute to the armed forces.

The JUI-F is observing Youm-e-Dafa Watan today, he said.

He further said that there will be a march in Peshawar on May 11 where people can express their solidarity, and added that a similar march will be held in Quetta on May 15.
