Pakistan shoots down Indian drone in Lahore: local police
Pakistan’s air defense system shot down an Indian drone early Thursday morning in Lahore, a local police official told the Associated Press.
Local police official Mohammad Rizwan said “a drone was downed near Walton Airport, an airfield in a residential area of Lahore that also contains military installations, about 25 kilometers from the border with India”, AP reported.
The same was also confirmed by Reuters and Geo TV. There was no immediate word on the reason for the blast.
