Indian and Pakistani soldiers reportedly exchanged small arms and artillery fire overnight along the Line of Control in AJK, according to AFP.

There was no immediate confirmation from Pakistan of the latest reported skirmishes along the frontier.

The fire exchange took place in areas “opposite Kupwara, Baramulla, Uri and Akhnoor” in occupied Kashmir, according to a statement by the Indian army.
