Indian news agency ANI has reported that the city of Amritsar is once again under darkness with a second blackout imposed by the district administration as part of a nationwide civil defence drill.

“Please stay at home, do not panic and do not gather outside your houses; keep the outside lights switched off,” it quoted the district public relations officer as saying.
