Funeral prayers were offered today for the son of Lieutenant Colonel Zaheer Abbas Turi, who was slain in Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Dawarandi area due to “unprovoked Indian cross-border aggression”, PTV reports.

The funeral was attended by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and other senior government and military officials.
