PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in an address to the parliament, said an attack in the dead and dark of night was “an act of cowardice”.

“If they had the guts, they would have announced war in the day. They would have stood right in front of our soldiers,” he said. “But they attacked a child in the darkness of night … not just Pakistan but the entire world is condemning it.”
