NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, May 1: Two children drowned in two different incidents when they slipped and fell in the Rohri canal on Sunday.
Nine-year-old Naveed, son of Fayaz Rajput, resident of Bhirya town went the canal with his friends and fell in the canal.
The body was fished out from the Canal on Monday.
Seven-year-old Imran Sehto, resident of Saleh Sehto village, was standing at the bank of the canal with other children when he fell and drowned.
The body could not be recovered till the filing of this report.
WATER THEFT: The Executive engineer irrigation of the Rohri division, along with police, raided the Mithiani minor, the Darbelo minor, the Dalipota minor, the Jatoi minor, the Siyal distry and the Gul minor and found several influential persons of the area involved in stealing water and cutting of trees.
