BAHAWALPUR, May 1: Public and political circles besides transporters protested against the increase in petroleum prices on Monday. Politicians from opposition parties, while condemning the government, termed the hike in petrol price as the government’s failure.
They said the increase in price was the result of government’s flawed policies.
The transporters said they would have to revise fares to meet the high prices of diesel.
The public circles said they would be unable to afford the high fares of taxis and rickshaws.
