Speaking on the occasion, Sindhiani Tehrik president Nazeer Qureshi, Vishnu Mal and Zahida Shaikh said that an ethnic group had taken over control of the province. As a result, the very existence of Sindhi people was at stake.
They said that Sindh was being destroyed under a deep-rooted conspiracy.
They said that lawlessness and unemployment was at its peak and 50 per cent of the people in the province were living below the poverty line.
They demanded removal of what they called the government of terrorists.
The activists also held protests in other districts.
DADU: A large number of Awami Tehrik activists took out a procession in Khairpur Nathan Shah town on Saturday in protest against deteriorating law and order situation in Sindh.
They marched from the bypass to the press club.
Awami Tehrik leaders Mukhtiar Mallah and Hyder Mallah led the protesters.
The protesters also observed a token hunger strike outside the Khairpur Nathan Shah press club.
