FMs to discuss Iran issue on May 9

WASHINGTON, April 28: Foreign ministers of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany will meet in New York on May 9 to discuss the Iranian nuclear crisis, a State Department official said on Friday.

The official said Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice would confer with her counterparts from Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany on Iran’s alleged efforts to develop nuclear arms. —AFP
