Mattel announces Hot Wheels Let’s Race Season 3

The 3DCG animated series returns March 3 on Netflix, with five new episodes. This season, rival racer Cruise takes the lead with her Track Blasters, securing the Ultimate Garage for her villainous father, Professor Rearview. But Coop and his friends fight back, leading to a high-stakes final race.

Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy) returns for the score and theme song. The series, produced by Mattel Television Studios, is animated by Sprite Animation and OLM Digital. A live-action Hot Wheels film from Mattel Films and J.J. Abrams, Bad Robot is also in development.

Barbie & Teresa: Recipe for Friendship Special

The one-hour animated adventure premieres March 6 on Netflix, following Barbie “Brooklyn” Roberts, Barbie “Malibu” Roberts and their best friends, Teresa and Nikki, on a spring break trip to New York City. Inspired by her family recipes, Teresa explores her Mexican heritage with her friends.

Music from the special will be available on YouTube and streaming platforms. It will also air internationally on Super RTL, Cartoonito, Canal Panda, and more, with additional availability on Amazon and other streaming platforms.

The special joins Barbie Mysteries: The Great Horse Chase, Barbie: A Touch of Magic and Barbie & Stacie to the Rescue on Netflix.

Selena Gomez announces new album with Benny Blanco

Selena Gomez has officially announced her upcoming studio album, “I Said I Love You First,” set for release on March 21, 2025. The album is a collaboration with producer Benny Blanco and marks her first major music project since 2020’s “Rare”.

Gomez recently held an exclusive listening party in London on February 18, 2025, where she previewed select tracks from the album. As anticipation builds, industry insiders expect the album to showcase a mix of pop, R&B and introspective ballads, continuing Gomez’s evolution as an artist.
