LAKKI MARWAT: The chairman of Karak district development advisory committee (DDAC), MPA Khursheed Khattak, inaugurated Sehat Sahulat Cad scheme and centralised oxygen plant at Women and Children Hospital in Karak on Saturday.
PTI local leaders and officials of hospital management were present on the occasion.
The lawmaker said that provincial government had realised its promise to provide free treatment facilities to people at their doorsteps. He said that all patients would get free treatment under Sehat Sahult Card scheme at the hospital.
He said that the centralised oxygen plant would help to cater to with the needs of patients and strengthen intensive care services at the health facility.
Meanwhile, Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) has provided six ambulances to health department in Karak district.
The district health officer, Dr Mohammad Shoaib Khattak, received keys of the state-of-the-art ambulances equipped with modern and advanced medical facilities from OGDCL officials at a ceremony on Saturday.
Deputy Commissioner Shakeel Ahmad Jan, Rescue 1122 district emergency officer Atif Sardar and other officials were also present on the occasion.
