Sonic the Hedgehog 4 set for spring 2027 release
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is targeting a spring 2027 release, following the upcoming Sonic 3. Directed by Jeff Fowler, the film’s details remain under wraps, with no confirmation yet on cast returns.
The franchise, which has earned over $700 million globally, introduces Shadow the Hedgehog, voiced by Keanu Reeves, in the third instalment. The plot follows Sonic, Knuckles and Tails facing off against the powerful new villain.
The film’s official synopsis promises an epic battle as Team Sonic unites against Shadow to protect the planet.
Wolverine #400 comes with surprises
Marvel Comics is set to release Wolverine #400 on April 16, 2025. The oversized issue, by Saladin Ahmed and Martín Cóccolo, will feature shocking revelations, including Logan confronting a mysterious entity, The Adamantine, an ancient force tied to his enemies and adamantium. The issue also promises a surprising return from Logan’s past and a significant family revelation. Teasers suggest March’s Wolverine #399 will introduce a ‘key appearance’ leading to these developments.
The cover hints at classic foes like Sabretooth, Omega Red and Lady Deathstrike, now infected by The Adamantine. Additionally, Logan’s mentorship of a new Wendigo, Leonard and the rise of the golden “Metal of the Gods” are set to play pivotal roles in the story.
Gold Tiger, Wakanda’s new teen hero
Marvel’s New Champions series introduces Gold Tiger, a Wakandan teen hero with golden claws and spell-casting abilities. Created by Ernanda Souza, Gold Tiger first appeared on a 2023 Black Panther variant cover and will star in New Champions #2 on February 12, 2025.
Part of a new team led by Hellrune, the New Champions battle supernatural threats like the Cult of Hela. Other members include Fantasma, Hulkette, Spider-Boy and Kid Juggernaut. The debut coincides with Marvel’s Black History Month covers, spotlighting heroes like Black Panther, Luke Cage and Miles Morales.
