MULTAN, April 15: Anti-Terrorism Court No 2 Judge Ameer Muhammad Khan on Saturday awarded overall 10-year imprisonment to an accused with Rs40,000 fine and three-year jail term with Rs20,000 fine to another accused in separate illicit arms cases.
Both the convicts are activists of the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
The judge awarded 10-year imprisonment to Habibur Rehman and three-year imprisonment to Ahmed Ali alias Sheeshnag after the Chiniot and Toba Tek Singh police had recovered illicit arms from their possession.
Both the accused would have to undergo three-month additional imprisonment each in case of default. —APP
