Cleanliness campaign held at parks in F-8 sector

ISLAMABAD: Clean and Green Islamabad Movement has created a new wave of cleanliness in the federal capital.

Under the leadership of Chairman Ahsen Zafar Bakhtawari, the team not only cleaned parks in sectors F-8/1, 2, 3, and 4 but also instilled in citizens the importance of cleanliness and the commitment to protect their environment, says a press release.

During the waste-picking activity, people from various walks of life, including students, local residents, and volunteer organisations actively participated.

The participants cleaned the parks, cleared the areas around trees and distributed pamphlets to raise awareness. Citizens were also informed about the use of biodegradable waste bags and proper waste disposal methods.

The goal of the Clean and Green Islamabad Movement is not only to clean but also to involve every citizen in the movement to make Islamabad a model city.
