SYDNEY, April 13: Australia have called up all-rounder James Hopes to replace the injured Shane Watson in their one-day squad to tour Bangladesh, Cricket Australia said on Thursday.

Watson suffered a calf injury playing for Queensland in last month's Pura Cup final against Victoria.

The 27-year-old Hopes has played eight one-day internationals, the most recent against Sri Lanka in this year'sTri-series.

Australia start their three-match one-day series against Bangladesh in Chittagong on Apr il 23.—Reuters
