Rangers end Canadiens’run

MONTREAL, Oct 16: Rookie New York Rangers goalie Dan Blackburn made 22 saves as the Rangers rallied for a 2-1 victory over the previously unbeaten Montreal Canadiens in NHL action on Monday.

In only his second senior start, the 18-year-old Blackburn, who was born in Montreal, stopped all 18 shots he faced over the final two periods for his first win.—Reuters
