DADU, March 27: A group of people observed a token hunger strike outside the press club here on Monday to protest against power load-shedding in the city. Citizens Action Committee leaders Nadeem Ghallo, Faisal Malkani, Zeeshan Memon, Khalid Hussain Lashari, Faisal Rajhani and Sikandar Bhutto and taluka council member Soni Solangi complained that Hesco officials were disconnecting power supply to the city for three to four hours daily.

ARREST DEMANDED: Residents of Bahawalpur and Makhdoom Bilawal villages took out a procession here on Monday, demanding arrest of murderers of Tariq Arain, who had been killed by bandits in Shikarpur 10 days ago.

They were led by Mohammad Hashim Qambrani, Ghazi Khan Jamali, Wadero Khuda Bux and Bashir Ahmad Arain.

SPLA: A meeting of the Dadu chapter of the Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association was held at the Government Degree College here on Monday.
