KARACHI, March 27: The University of Karachi on Monday announced the results of BCom part I (regular/external) annual exams 2005. According to statistics, 19,571 candidates appeared in the exams and of these 5,020 were declared as successful with a pass percentage of 25.65.

As many as 14,502 regular candidates appeared out of which 4,367 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 30.11.

The number of external candidates, who appeared was 5,069 and out of these only 654 passed with a pass percentage of 12.99.

A Karachi University statement said that the marks certificates were being issued.—APP
