SAHIWAL: Dewan Masood Farid Chishiti, the caretaker of Baba Farid shrine, opened three traditional silver locks of Bahishti Drawaza in Pakpattan on Friday night.

This marks the beginning of the 782nd annual Urs of Baba Farid.

DPO Tariq Walayat, DC Sadia Maher, dozens of Sajada Nasheen from other renown shrines of Pakistan along with some guests from Nizamuddin Auliya shrine in India were also present at the opening of silver doors.
