Four gunmen kidnap trader

SIALKOT, March 21: Four gunmen kidnapped a trader from his brother’s house in Jinnah Chowk locality of Daska City on Monday night. Accused Arshad, Khurram Adnan and their accomplices stormed into the house and kidnapped Shaikh Sajid. They took the trader to Lahore where they beat him and got his signatures on white papers.

Later, they threw the trader at a deserted place near Lahore considering him dead.

The reason behind the incident is stated to be a property dispute. Daska City police are investigating.

CASE REGISTERED: The Motra police registered a dacoity case after one month of the incident.

According to the FIR, unidentified dacoits had snatched Rs9,700 in cash, service and national identity cards and other documents at gunpoint from army official Hameed Ahmad from Bogray village, Daska, near Pandoriyaan village on Feb 23.

Motra police have started investigation, with no arrest.

ROBBERY: Four dacoits took away motorcycle, gold ornaments, cash, a 12 bore gun and licensed pump action worth Rs150,000 at gunpoint from the house of a landlord near village Mitraanwali, Daska, late Monday night.

The accused locked all the family members including women and children in a room and fled away.
