MIQDADIYA (Iraq), March 17: Four US soldiers were killed in Iraq on Friday when a landmine exploded near a police checkpoint in the town of Miqdadiya, northeast of Baghdad. The US forces sealed off the area and arrested 10 policmen manning the checkpoint. The military said it was checking the report. —Reuters
