QUETTA: A security official was martyred and two others were injured in an explosion near a post of Frontier Corps in the Hazar Gangi area of Quetta, late on Sunday night.

Police said an IED was planted near the FC post. They said one soldier embraced martyrdom and two others sustained injuries when the IED went off.

The body and the injured were later shifted to hospital. No one has claimed responsibility for the blast.
