BERLIN, Oct 16: German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer will travel to Pakistan on Thursday to discuss humanitarian aid for Afghanistan ahead of a tour of the Middle East and the Gulf region next week, his spokesman Andrea Michaelis said on Monday.
Mr Fischer will return on Saturday and leave next week for Saudi Arabia, Iran, Israel and the Palestinian territories.
On Wednesday, he will join Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder for talks with French President Jacques Chirac in Paris.—AFP
