Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that an air ambulance service will be launched soon in the province, Radio Pakistan reports.

Chairing a meeting of the Air Ambulance Project in Lahore, she allowed the use of a helicopter for the emergency shifting of patients.

She said the Rescue 1122 service would also be started on the motorway.
