The Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) has named PTI-backed candidate Zain Qureshi as the party’s parliamentary leader in the National Assembly.

His name was submitted to National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq by the SIC leaders.

Zain is the son of jailed PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
