The oath-taking ceremony for the new federal cabinet is taking place at the President House.

President Asif Ali Zardari will administer the oath to a 19-member cabinet, which Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif proposed earlier today.

The national anthem was played to inaugurate the ceremony, following which the Holy Quran was recited.
