PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has said that while social media cannot be completely restricted, it also cannot be used as a “free-for-all tool to instigate anarchy in the country”.

Iqbal said there was a need for consensus regarding the issue of social media, adding that several nations had formed their code of conduct on the matter.

“I think all stakeholders should sit together and decide upon it,” he said during an interview on a Geo News programme.
