Former information minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that “reconciliation”, as offered by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, would only be possible once “political prisoners were released” from jails.

In a video Chaudhry shared of himself speaking to reporters, the ex-PTI leader said “thousands of people are in jail in political cases”.

“There will be reconciliation once they are released [but] hypocrisy is going on till now.”
