A number of lawmakers including PTI’s Barrister Gohar Khan, SIC’s candidate for premiership Omer Ayub Khan, Asad Qaiser, PML-N’s Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal and others have arrived at the National Assembly for the much anticipated election of the prime minister.

PML-N’s Shehbaz Sharif, who also has support from eight allied parties, will be contesting the polls against Omer Ayub.

The session was scheduled to begin at 11am.
