By-elections on six vacant seats of the Senate will be held on March 14, state-run Radio Pakistan reports.

According to a notification issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan, candidates will be able to file their nomination papers till Sunday evening.

These seats were vacated by Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, Prince Ahmed Umer Ahmdezai, and Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti.
