Newly elected National Assembly Deputy Speaker Ghulam Mustafa Shah has vowed to work for strengthening the democracy.

In his maiden speech, he thanked the PPP, PML-N, MQM-P and all other allied parties. Shah called on all the lawmakers in the NA to come together and work for the betterment of the country.

He further stated that his heart and chamber would always remain open for members from both the opposition and judiciary benches.
