The Upper House of the Parliaments echoed with calls for proceedings against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja under Article 6 (treason) of the Constitution today.

National Party’s Senator Muhammad Tahir Bizenjo and independent Senator Hidayatullah were among those who sought action against the CEC over allegations of rigging in the February 8 general elections.
