A session of the Punjab Assembly scheduled for 10am today is yet to begin.
The newly elected representatives of the assembly are set to take the oath of office in its maiden session. The outgoing Punjab Assembly speaker, Sibtain Khan, will administer the oath to the MPA-elects.
As per the procedure, the assembly secretary will then announce a four-member panel of chairpersons to be nominated by the speaker for each session.
