LONDON, March 2: European stock exchanges fell on Thursday, with the London FTSE 100 index shedding 0.19 per cent to close at 5,833 points. In Paris the CAC 40 dropped 0.96 per cent to 5,009.09 while in Frankfurt the DAX fell 1.42 per cent to reach 5,783.49.—AFP
