HANGU, March 1: District Nazim Ghani-ur-Rehman unveiled here on Wednesday a Rs330.5 million budget for 2005-06. Presenting the budget in the district council, Mr Rehman said that of the total amount, Rs30.4 million had been earmarked for the annual development programme (ADP), while the remaining for non-developmental expenditures, including establishment charges.
He said the district would receive a major chunk of the budget through the Provincial Finance Commission award.
Speaking about the situation, he condemned the recent sectarian violence that had crippled economic and development activities in the area.
