KARACHI, March 1: The Pakistan People’s Party, Sindh, has appealed to all citizens to fully participate in the March 3 strike against blasphemous cartoons.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, PPP Sindh chief Syed Qaim Ali Shah said Muslims around the world were enraged over the blasphemous sketches published by certain European newspapers.

All citizens, including transporters and traders should keep their business closed on Friday to express solidarity with the Ummah on the issue through the peaceful protest, he added.—PPI
