GUJRANWALA, Feb 28: South Africa is an important market for Gujranwala-made sanitary fittings manufactured in accordance with the international standards. This was stated by South African high commissioner Daniel Jeboline during a visit to a made-in-Gujranwala exhibition organised by the local chamber of commerce and industry at Ghulshan Iqbal Park on GT Road here on Tuesday.
Earlier, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce president Chaudhry Mohammad Saeed visited the exhibition and lauded the quality of products. He said the business community was paying $600 billion to the government per annum, but it was suffering owing to smuggled products. He assured he would put up the issue at the government level to stop smuggling and providing better facilities to the business community.
